Auburn’s National Ranking

The 2010 edition of “America’s Best Colleges” from U.S. News & World Report hit news stands yesterday. Auburn continues to be ranked among the best national universities for undergraduates, with an overall score of 42 points (Harvard = 100). This year, that score produced rankings of 88th overall, 39th among public institutions, 20th among land-grant universities (including Cornell), and 11th among the 24 members of our SREB peer group, all improvements over last year. Our undergraduate program in engineering received individual notice again this year, ranking 64th overall among engineering schools that award the doctorate in engineering.
