Auburn Creed

I believe that this is a practical world and that I can count only on what I earn. Therefore, I believe in work, hard work.

I believe in education, which gives me the knowledge to work wisely and trains my mind and my hands to work skillfully.

I believe in honesty and truthfulness, without which I cannot win the respect and confidence of my fellow men.

I believe in a sound mind, in a sound body and a spirit that is not afraid, and in clean sports that develop these qualities.

I believe in obedience to law because it protects the rights of all.

I believe in the human touch, which cultivates sympathy with my fellow men and mutual helpfulness and brings happiness for all.

I believe in my Country, because it is a land of freedom and because it is my own home, and that I can best serve that country by "doing justly, loving mercy, and walking humbly with my God."

And because Auburn men and women believe in these things, I believe in Auburn and love it.

Stepping down for Fall 2019

War Eagle everyone!! Min here. It is almost time for another football season!! I hope everyone is excited!! Unfortunately, this year The Seattle Auburn Club will need a lot of help from everyone, if we hope for the club to continue hosting game watching parties. The reason is my father is really sick and he is currently on home hospice at my place. So I am taking care of him. I really want to continue helping the Seattle Auburn Club, like the last 10+ years, but this fall, I will not likely to have any time to host any game watch parties.

I am sorry.

However, I think this will be a great opportunity for some of the new Auburn Tigers in the greater Seattle area to step up and carry the torch forward!

Once again, I am sorry for this news and I will be happy to provide directions and guidance but I will be stepping back as primary for the Seattle Auburn Club going forward!

Thanks for your understanding and please feel free to let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks and War Eagle!!
