Auburn Creed I believe that this is a practical world and that I can count only on what I earn. Therefore, I believe in work, hard work.
I believe in education, which gives me the knowledge to work wisely and trains my mind and my hands to work skillfully.
I believe in honesty and truthfulness, without which I cannot win the respect and confidence of my fellow men.
I believe in a sound mind, in a sound body and a spirit that is not afraid, and in clean sports that develop these qualities.
I believe in obedience to law because it protects the rights of all.
I believe in the human touch, which cultivates sympathy with my fellow men and mutual helpfulness and brings happiness for all.
I believe in my Country, because it is a land of freedom and because it is my own home, and that I can best serve that country by "doing justly, loving mercy, and walking humbly with my God."
And because Auburn men and women believe in these things, I believe in Auburn and love it.

The game kickoff is at 12:30pm PDT.
So come and join the Seattle Auburn Club to cheer on the Auburn Tigers against the number 7 ranked Texas Aggies.

By Jared, on September 11th, 2013 We’re back this week with another Auburn Club game watch. Join us at the Belltown Buckley’s location (not Queen Anne) as Auburn starts SEC play against Mississippi State. Buckley’s has assured we’ll have an all ages area of the restaurant.

By admin, on August 21st, 2013 Dear Seattle area Auburn Alums,
Greetings! We do plan to meet for football game watching events this fall.
The first event of the season is gathering to watch Auburn battle WSU on 8/31 at 4pm PST. We are meeting at the familiar Buckley’s Queen Anne location (232 1st Avenue West, Seattle, WA 98119). More information and directions can be found at Buckley’s website.
Since I moved to Seattle nearly 15 years ago it has been a pleasure every fall to stay connected with Auburn and to meet other kindred spirits from the Plains. Jared is going to take a well-deserved break from presidential duties. I plan to step back into a club officer’s role after a hiatus. Thanks to last year’s outgoing team for volunteering to keep the local club alive — Jared Porter, outgoing club President (current Sec./Treas.), Shameka Mattox, outgoing VP, and Min Chen, outgoing Secretary, past Pres. (current VP).
Now time to watch the Tigers fly down the field! Let’s see what Gus Malzhan can do to get us back on track. May we start the new season with a win over the Cougs!

By Jared, on August 13th, 2013 Seattle Auburn Club meet up this Wednesday Aug 14 @ 7PM at Kate’s Pub in Wallingford (45th just off I-5). We’re in need of officers to continue the club and set up game watch activities for this fall, so please join us if you have any interest or send a message if you’re not able to attend but would like to help out.
Thanks and War Eagle!
By Jared, on August 1st, 2013 War Eagle Seattle Auburn Club!
Hope everyone is well and excited for the upcoming football season. Just one month away! It’s our hope that we can continue to gather for weekly game watch events throughout the fall. In order for that to happen though, we need some members able to become club officers.
We’d like to get together for a meeting sometime next week (most likely Tues or Wed evening) to discuss the future of the club. It would be great to have as much input as possible so please respond with what day would work best if you’re interested in attending and we’ll set a date and location by this weekend. Also please contact us (contact@seattleauburnclub.org) if you aren’t able to attend, but have interest in being an officer. The only requirement is that you be a member of the Auburn Alumni Association.
Thanks and War Eagle!
By Jared, on November 22nd, 2012 The 2012 Auburn Football season is about to come to a close. But there’s still one more game left to play. It’s Tigers vs Crimson Tide in the most intense rivalry in college football. Can Auburn pull off an incredible upset? We’ll be watching at Buckley’s in Queen Anne this Saturday at 12:30. Join us for the Iron Bowl.
Also, the Seattle Auburn Club is looking for new officers for 2013. We’ll be discussing positions at the Iron Bowl game watch on Saturday. If you’re interested, let us know by sending us a message at contact@seattleauburnclub.com.

By Jared, on November 6th, 2012 Haven’t had enough “War Eagle!” and “Bodda Getta!” this fall? Feel the need to endlessly wave an orange and blue shaker? Here’s your chance. The other Auburn football is coming to town this Friday at 7pm. The Auburn women’s soccer team has made the NCAA Tournament and their first round match is against the UW. It’s a rare opportunity to catch Auburn athletics right here in Seattle.
There will be tailgating with family and friends of the team at 5pm, followed by a Tiger Walk at 6:05.
Tickets are $8, by phone (206.543.2200) or at the ticket office at 3910 Montlake Blvd. They will also be available 1.5 hours before start at the soccer stadium.
