Please join the Seattle Auburn Club for our 2nd annual fall food drive. This year’s theme is “YES WE CAM… CAN DRIVE” Same as last year, all food collected by the Seattle Auburn Club will be donated to Northwest Harvest (http://www.northwestharvest.org). So please bring your none perishable food to the Auburn Vs. Georgia game watch and help us spread our Auburn Spirit to the Northwest. If you have any questions or comments, please let me know. For the Ole Miss game–we’ll return to Buckley’s BELLTOWN location, this time we’ll have the reserved room in the back. Buckley’s BELLTOWN 2331 2nd Ave Come out and cheer for our Auburn Tigers!!! Come Join the Seattle Auburn Club and support our Auburn Tigers as we play against LSU–the battle of the unbeaten in the SEC West!! This is a HUGE game–A #4 ranking, leading Heisman candidate, undefeated, game with SEC AND national championship implications!! Come out support our Auburn Tigers! Yep, we will be watching football game at the Buckley’s BELLTOWN Restaurant at They’ll be plenty of room & as usual kids, families & friends are WELCOME!! The Kick Off is at 12:30 PT/2:30 CT on 10/23/2010!!! Also since Buckley’s has provided some scheduling challenges for us this season–they want to say THANKS for our continued support of their Pub with a few appetizers & they’ve also given us a gift certificate that we’ll use to buy some pitchers of adult beverages! Come on out! Great Football! Great People! And Snacks & Beer! What more could you ask for on a Saturday afternoon in October!?!? WAR EAGLE EVERYONE!!! Yep, we will be watching football game at the Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant on the upper level of Pacific Place in Downtown Seattle!!! For those of you that participated in our 3D game watch events, we are in the same back room. If you don’t know the way, just ask the hostess, she knows us!! They’ll be plenty of room & as usual kids, families & friends are WELCOME!! The Kick Off is at 12:30 PT/2:30 CT on 10/16/2010!!! Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant (Pacific Place) As a side note on 7th Avenue between Lenora & Virginia Streets are Impark lots that charge $5 all day on Saturday. It’s a little cheaper than parking in Pacific Place and only 2 blocks away. Congrats to the Auburn Tigers for a fantastic 52-3 win against the Louisiana Monroe. With this win, We are now 5 – 0 and ranked 8th in the polls!!!! So please come out Saturday and join the Seattle Auburn Club and cheering on the Auburn Tigers as they face off against another SEC opponent Unversity of Kentucky. This time, we have invited UK alums to join our game watching. It should be very exciting. The kick off will be at 4:30 PM PST or 6:30 PM CST. We will be meeting around 4:00 PM PST at one of our favorite sports pub in Seattle, Buckley’s in Queen Anne. Oh and don’t worry, the owner stated that we will have two sections to watch the UK games also remember Buckley’s is kids friendly!!! Min-Hsao Chen ’99 EE The 17th-ranked Auburn football team’s game against Louisiana-Monroe in Jordan-Hare Stadium on Oct. 2 will be televised by ESPNU. Kickoff is slated for 11 a.m. CT. It will be the eighth all-time meeting between the two teams, with Auburn winning the first seven contests in the series. The last meeting came in 2008, with Auburn earning a 34-0 victory in the season opener.
